South African born American evangelist and conspiracy theorist Rodney Howard-Browne has touched down in country on Independence day, 9th October 2023.
He was received by Pastor Robert Kayanja of Kayanja ministries at Entebbe International Airport.
“”It’s amazing that he has arrived on the day of our independence in the same month of October.” He has toured African countries and Uganda is the tenth country. He is going to preach for three days and we are inviting everyone whatever religion you belong to and whatever problems you have just come.” Said Kayanja
Howard who will be in country for a three days conference expressed his delight upon his visit to Uganda and revealed that he has been friends with Kayanja for many years
“We have been friends with Pastor Robert for many years and I am have come to see the great work he is doing here. So I am very glad to be here.”
Dueing evangelist will be teaching three times a day starting tomorrow with Thursday as the final day.
According to Pastor Kayanja all those who will attend the sessions at his church in Lubaga during the three days will receive economical knowledge.
Howard-Browne is the head of Revival Ministries International, a ministry he and his wife founded in 1997.
He has resided in Tampa, Florida, since the mid-1990s and is pastor of The River Church in Tampa Bay. The River is considered both Pentecostal and Charismatic with revival meetings, led by Howard-Browne, known for those in the audience breaking into “holy laughter” and experiencing other phenomena similar to the Great Awakenings and Azusa Street Revival.
