Earlier this year, musician Grace Khan announced her concert to her fans scheduled for 19th of May 2024.
She titled this concert “the Sing Along With Grace Khan concert”
She further revealed that the concert was to be held at the Climax hangout in Makindye which was given to her for free.
Given her unique talent, this news was received with excitement from the public generally and her fans in particular.
Different artists and musicians showed her solidarity by further advising her concert.
Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) president Cindy Sanyu a.k.a the king herself also reportedly offered her band to help Grace Khan through her rehearsals free of charge.
However, the preparations of this long waited concert have taken a U turn when Grace Khan announced on a tiktok live that the concert was called off.
After making this devastating announcement, she apologised to her fans and individuals that were involved in the preparations.
She expressly extended her apologies to individuals and companies such as Mr. Lule the proprietor of Paka Last and Climax Bar and Lounge in Makindye, and Sasha Brighton.
She appreciated their efforts in the concert and apologised for any damage caused by her decision to cancel the concert.
This decision has now left social media and the public wondering whether her recent scandals with Grace Khan’s ex boyfriend could have been primary to the decision to cancel the concert.
