Kent and Flosso of Voltage Music have hit out at local DJs who refuse to play Ugandan music and play foreign one. It was here that they told DJ Roja to go and tell WizKid to buy him a new car.
It should be noted that the famous Disc jockey had an accident last month that wrecked his Toyota Wish car beyond recognition. Luckily for him, he didn’t sustain any injuries.
However, he’s now back to boda bodas and Footshubishu. But according to Kent and Flosso, if he had been promoting Ugandan music, they would have come together maybe through their musicians federation to help him.
But since he doesn’t and he’s more into WizKid music, it will have to. W waited to see if the Nigerian singer will buy him a car.
Musicians have always complained how DJs here don’t help a lot in growing the music industry. But these DJs also complain about the quality of the music saying they are dictated by the fans wishes.
