US President Joe Biden tripped himself and fell while handing over diplomas at a graduation ceremony for the US Air Force Academy in Colorado.
The 80 year old who is America’s oldest serving president couldn’t help himself back to his feet. He had to be lifted by security around and seemed unhurt.
Communication from the White House blamed this incident on a sand bag.
“There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,” Ben LaBolt wrote on Twitter after Thursday’s fall.
“I got sandbagged,” the smiling president joked to reporters as he arrived back at the White House that evening.
This comes at a time Biden is threatening Uganda with sanctions after President Museveni signed the anti gay bill.
And some locals have started speculating that this could have been the Ugandan gods at work who don’t want their culture and beliefs messed around with.
