That time of the year is once again around as transport companies dwell on them to mint millions of money for themselves.
It’s no common secret that world over when the festive season approaches, transport fares are hiked by companies.
These are usually doubled or even tripled as compared to the normal fares.
And since many people in Uganda work and reside in Kampala, reality has already downed on them on how they will travel to their villages.
According to the transport fares seen by this website, moving rom Kampala to Mbarara is now at Shs 50,000 from the previous Shs 30,000.
Traveling to Kabale is currently at Shs 70,000 from Kampala, to Fort Portal, the fare is now Shs 60,000.
To both Kabale and Fort Portal from Kampala, it was previously at Shs 40,000.
Traveling to Ntungamo is currently at Shs 60,000
